Why is he overhyped? We admit that he was once one of the top personalities in Hollywood, but if you see him now, you’d see that he never was worth all that hype anyway. We’re guessing it had something to do with him concealing his religious beliefs and his actual height.

How he got famous? By playing the role of Loki in the film Thor.

Why is he overhyped? He’s clearly one of the celebrities who have totally ordinary appearances, but got to look good through glamour. Remove his makeup and money and we bet he’d have nothing to offer in the department of good looks.

Amy Adams

How she got famous? Through her Disney film, Enchanted.

Why is she overhyped? Well, yeah, she sure did some good movies and won some awards, but is she really a good actress? Her acting is quite one-dimensional and she doesn’t have much in the department of looks anyway, so…

Why is he overhyped? The director of The Notebook, when he saw Gosling for the first time, gave the part to him because he looked different than the people in Hollywood, which basically meant ugly. He told Gosling “you’re not cool, you’re not good-looking, you are just the ordinary guy who looks a bit out of his mind”. We can’t help but agree with the director. Gosling is def one of the most overrated celebs ever.
