Alone in the Dark: 2005

80 minutes of your life you won’t get back if you watch this videogame-inspired horror. Based on a popular video game series, Alone in the Dark doesn’t help the makers of this supernatural thriller.
Material Girls: 2006
Hilary Duff and her sister Haylie Duff are so pathetically unlikable in this awful poor little rich girl tale. The film is all about product placements and outfits changing at a dizzying pace. Even the music is a letdown, which is surprising considering it is produced by Madonna’s Maverick Productions.
I Know Who Killed Me: 2007

The title of this psychological drama speaks for itself, doesn’t it? But Lindsay Lohan’s character ends up being tragically reduced to a pole dancing caricature who endures brutal violence in this inane film.
One Missed Call: 2008
The movie is just another bad Japanese remake that paints technology as the villain. Such preposterous usage of stereotypical horror elements made this film easily forgettable.
Frankly, it is one call you won’t regret missing!
Homecoming: 2009

Teen romance goes slasher – Homecoming is just a confused horror film.
