4. Beautiful, flowing hair enhances her appearance
When you want to hang a meaningful picture or painting on a wall, you don’t just grab some duct tape to do so, right? You invest in a lovely frame to make the image look even better, not do something to detract from it. If you’re super artistic about things, you might even tinker around with the lighting to really make that painting look like a million bucks. When you think about it, it’s really not that different from how long hair brings out the beauty in a woman, especially when you factor in lighting, a gentle wind blowing, etc. Hairstyling is indeed an art form.

For as long as there have been fairytales, long hair has been strongly tied to beauty. And while there was a time when this might have been perceived as a sign of weakness and dependency (think Rapunzel, the helpless damsel in distress who needed a prince to rescue her from a cruel sorceress), today we see it as a sign of power and confidence; a woman chaste, beautiful, and worth a man’s love.
