According to a study published in the Scandinavian Journal of Psychology, a woman’s hairstyle has an influence on how willing a man is to help her. In this field experiment, women were instructed to drop a glove in front of an unsuspecting male and act as if they weren’t aware of their loss. The participants wore their hair in three ways: naturally about their shoulders and back, tied up in a ponytail, and twisted in a bun. The results of the experiment indicated that the women who sported the natural, long-haired look were most likely to have the glove returned to them by the man.
3. Brilliant hair = time for him and his dudes
Okay, this one admittedly sounds more like some kind of conspiracy theory, but just go with it. Here’s how it works: her man wants an afternoon with some of his amigos. Maybe they’ll play some computer games, drink some beer, or catch the big football game on TV. The details don’t really matter. So to get his girlfriend out of the house for a few hours, he treats her to a high-end salon to get really dolled up. The longer her hair is, the more pampering is required, and therefore, the more time he gets with his buddies! It’s really a win-win situation, but it’s only possible if she has long hair!
