The top speed was measured at 304 mph in fact, so it’s more of a symbolic brag than everything else because who’s going to feel those extra 4 mph at that point? If they poured out a few more, they’d probably call it the 500+ and take measurements in km/h.

Let’s end this one with a hypothetical best. The Jesko Absolut is a car that hasn’t been properly tested yet, but according to the computer simulations (granted, Koeningsegg’s computer simulations), the car should be able to reach a top speed of about 310 mph, making it officially the fastest car in the world while also smacking Bugatti’s 300+ humble brag. What a time to be alive, right?
